As a member organization, you will be joining a national vehicle for creating real solutions. Together, we aim to transform failed youth justice models defined by a lack of institutional accountability that spur high recidivism rates and disturbingly negative outcomes.

We connect our members through nationalzand regional conferences and peer-to-peer exchanges. We provide technical assistance in the form of curriculums, program development, media coverage, and organizational support. We aim to provide all of the resources that our members need to participate in network activities.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the more than 250+ organizations and individuals that comprise the CJNY Network, then joining is easy!

Phase One: Membership Application

The first step towards becoming a part of our vast membership network is to complete and submit a membership application form online.

The link to the application can be found here.

Phase Two: Assessment

A CJNY staff person will set up a conversation with each organization, group, or individual to determine eligibility based on the following questions:

  • Do you agree to uphold the CJNY mission, vision and values?
  • Do you work directly with or on behalf of youth most affected by youth justice issues?
  • Do your work address racial and ethnic disparities in youth-serving systems?

Phase Three: Member Intake

After completing the first two steps, a CJNY staff person will set up a conversation with each organization, group, or individual to collect additional detailed information about each organization.
